Hot thermal
insulation
Properly designed and
installed thermal insulation can mean big energy and cost savings in the
industrial plants. Hot thermal insulation is also often used for process
requirements and personnel protection.
Astaş Insulation serves its clients in the application of thermal insulation
and personnel protection by insulating materials such as glass wool, rock wool,
ceramic wool or polyurethane. The insulation material is then covered by
wrapping or jacketing with aluminum,stainless steel, PVC or silicone for
mechanical and vapor resistance.
Hot thermal insulation applications are boilers, heat recovery steam
generators, turbine housings, hot water installations, hot oil installations,
steam and condensate lines, process equipment, tanks, piping and ducting.
Cold thermal
insulation
In order to secure the
requirements in the cold processes and cryogenic applications, high
qualityapplications and strict quality control procedures are must. Astaş
Insulation has developed a reputable background in the cryogenic and cold
thermal insulations in thedemands of air separation plants, LNG, food and
beverage industries and similar other cold processes.
With its uniquely experienced and specialized teams, Astaş Insulation
undertakes the turn-key execution of cold insulation by polyurethane foam,
polyisocyanurate foam, cellular glass and perlite, in combination with vapor
barriers or metal claddings.
Polyurethane
injection / Polyurethane spraying
Hard foam polyurethane
is applied in place by injection into a jacket or spraying onto the surface
internally or externally. Polyurethane foam can be applied for the surface
temperatures between -60 C to +180 C. Astaş Insulation possess polyurethane
pressure foaming machines and specialized teams for in-situ application of
polyurethane foaminjection or spraying.
Polyurethane foam injection or spraying are applied for cold tanks, cold pipes,
chillers, freeze rooms, floors roofs or facades.
